The site covered 40 acres of industrial land with 250,000 sq. ft of warehousing, manufacturing facilities for plastics and other uses, but the site had become vacant in 2009.
Chris purchased the site and led a ‘team’ who were able to comprehensively master plan and secure planning permission for the development of the site from ‘industrial’ to residential. This resulted in the location being transformed from a dilapidated site to a quality housing development.
Other surplus land was leased to Hertel UK Ltd – a global industrial services company, which resulted in jobs for local people and active use of the whole land mass.
